Lori Coffin BA, SUDP
I am a dedicated and compassionate professional with a solid understanding of working with vulnerable and underserved populations. I received my Human Services Degree from Tacoma Community College in 2015, followed by a bachelor’s in liberal arts with a focus on phycology from Evergreen State College Tacoma Campus 2017. I am also Seeking Safety Certified with experience in multiple modalities including Medication Assisted Treatment and Co-Occurring with Trauma Focused Care. This is my 2nd career leaving 25 years of business sales and using my transferable skill sets to the addictions field for over 9 years. I am no stranger to using motivational skills to support finding and building motivation in a person. I have a solid foundation in client centered care and client/patient activation promoting positive health focused behavior. Teaching a strong problem-solving, grounding, and coping skills-based curriculum has a proven track record of promoting relapse prevention and longevity in recovery efforts. I am committed to supporting any individual eager to start their recovery journey. It is the best part of my job watching it happen and fanning the fire that burns within them to stay sober.
